LeafCore by LP ONE / Queensland, Australia
A composite panel pressed from pineapple leaf fibre, for interiors, joinery and products with a material story of their own.
LP ONE turns the leaves left after Queensland's pineapple harvest into LeafCore. We're looking for designers, makers and project teams who want to put it to work first.

01 / Why LeafCore
Most panels look like every other panel. LeafCore carries its fibre on its face: a warm, flecked texture you can trace back to a specific crop, harvest and region. It's a material you can tell a client about.
Pressed fibre gives every board a visible, tactile grain, so a feature wall, bar front or cabinet reads as a material choice, not a laminate.
The fibre comes from leaves collected after harvest on Queensland pineapple farms. It's a local agricultural by-product, not a virgin resource.
LeafCore is in development. Early projects get direct access to the team and a real say in formats, finishes and the testing that comes next.
Physical LeafCore prototype / Material development
02 / The material
Leaf residue in, panel out. We work from the fibre up.
We study how pineapple leaf fibre behaves, press it into composite panels and learn from each sample. The aim is a board that designers can specify and makers can machine, built on a feedstock Queensland already grows.
03 / Applications
These concepts show where LeafCore could go. Each project still has its own finish, wear, fire and installation requirements, and we'll work through them with you.

04 / Work with us
Tell us your role and we'll start where you need: a sample in hand, the technical picture or a conversation about a pilot.
A distinctive, locally sourced surface for feature walls, joinery and fit-outs.
Request a sample → MakeTry LeafCore on your own machines and help shape edge, fixing and finish detail.
Talk machining → BuildBring us a live project and we'll be upfront about what LeafCore can do today.
Discuss a project → PartnerProducts, retail fixtures or a material partnership built around Queensland fibre.
Start a conversation →05 / Our approach
Agricultural by-products are where we start. Understanding the fibre, making physical samples and learning from manufacturing are how the material moves forward.

We work with growers to understand the leaf at its source.

Fibre structure and variation guide how we develop the panel.

Samples get matched to the processing needs of a larger run.
