LP ONE / Approach

Creating value
from waste.

LP ONE is a Queensland materials company. We started with a simple question: what if the leaves left behind after a pineapple harvest could become something worth building with?

01 / What we believe

Agricultural residue is a resource we haven't learned to use yet.

Every harvest leaves fibre behind. Most of it is ploughed in, burned or left to break down. LP ONE exists to give that fibre a second life as a material designers and makers actually want.

We think the most useful materials connect the field to the finished object. LeafCore is our way of building that link, starting in Queensland, where the crop and the industry already exist.

02 / How we work

Source.
Understand.
Develop.

Three disciplines that move LeafCore from an idea to a panel you can specify.

Relationships with growers

We work with Queensland growers to understand the feedstock where it starts: how it's harvested, collected and handled.

02 / Understand

Know the fibre

We study fibre structure and natural variation, because a reliable panel starts with understanding what goes into it.

Samples to production

We connect sample development to the processing and manufacturing needs of a larger operation, so what works in the lab can work at scale.

03 / Why projects matter

Built for
real briefs.

A material only matters if someone builds with it.

That's why we develop LeafCore around real applications. Every conversation with an architect, joiner or brand tells us which formats, finishes and tests matter most, and helps us prioritise the work.

04 / Talk to us

Talk directly
to LP ONE.

We're a small Queensland team, so you'll be speaking with the people developing the material. Start with an email, a call or the enquiry form.
